East shag rock stands aprox. 11m above the water and is about 320m from the shore, you can either do a surface swim to the rock or take a bearing and dive out. There are low reefs that run parallel to the shore separated by sand and kelp round the rocks. There is very little tidal flow here but is best dived at high tide as it makes entry and exit of the water easier. It’s worth taking your camera on this one. Good for training and novice divers but plenty to see for the more experienced.
Good for a night dive.
